Hi Everyone,
This is my first blog! I have always been interested in the world of blogging but I never took the initiative... until now...
An introduction about myself, I moved to Colorado Springs from Michigan 2 years ago. I love it here and to my family's dismay I won't be moving back to Michigan anytime soon. I am a newlywed and got married August 5, 2011. I am lucky to have found my better half. :) We bought a house in a funky, hip and old part of town(which I love). My hubby and I have three pups that keep us on our toes. We are very blessed.
I am special education teacher and work with K-1 students with autism. I have 7 kiddo's and two educational assistants. I also work with an amazing group of people.
When I am not working or spending time with the family. I can be found running or hiking. I am currently training for the Pike's Peak Ascent which is a half marathon up Pike's Peak!! We will see how the training goes throughout the year. I am also a huge music fan! I love going to local places and listening to music. I am also a tv junkie so if I reference tv shows don't be surprised.

Amber you have a great blog here. I like you have never blogged, but learning little by little. You have had some very interesting people in your life, and I am sure you have learned alot from all of them. I used to be a Daisy Leader (Girl Scouts) and used to tell my kids, if you were to go to a nursing home and talk to this old people you can learn alot. It is amazing how much we learn, by people that cross our paths. See you on the board.
